DR. JACK KAVANAUGH AND HIS EXCEPTIONAL CAREER

Dr. Jack Kavanaugh is one such vivacious personality who has spent his life making his own path through every difficulty. At a time when he was at the peak of his dentistry career, he met with an unfortunate accident that broke his neck and leg. Needless to say, his settled career disrupted, and he was forced to stop practicing.

Dr.Jack Kavanaugh turned around and restarted his career from scratch. He went to earn his MBA from U.C.L.A. After this, he worked in mergers and acquisitions with a former partner and co-formed a management consulting firm called the International Strategy Consulting Group. As his career segued into private equity, he decided to return to medical school. He earned his M.D. degree from U.S.C. and carried out his surgical residency at U.C.L.A’s Jules Stein Institute.

From there on, he never had to look back in his career. He started conquering the business world with his extraordinary financial acumen by setting up or taking over one company after another. His background as a doctor and a business professional gave rise to an unusual skill set. That, paired up with a talent for recognizing what is truly innovative and the prowess to explicitly ascertain the commercial potential of a research project, be it a start-up or an already established company, resulted in a commendable array of business accomplishments. 

In his vast experience, Dr. Jack Kavanaugh has developed and supervised various companies from their inception to successful selling as well as created pioneering products and helped in multiplying investor’s gains. Although his contributions to other industries, like power and media, are undeniable, his primary focus is always on the health and science technology sector. He capitalizes his extensive knowledge in medicine and business to lead mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, turnarounds, as well as corporate strategic development. 

Dr. Kavanaugh has helped commercialize innumerable technologies and guided various companies to create next-gen medical treatments. He has founded two companies, Amerident and ZetaRx, as well as co-founded Novonco Therapeutics Inc., SuperMetalix Inc., and Nanotech Energy Inc. He also serves as director and a member of the board for several other organizations. He is especially proud of ZetaRx, which later became the soul of Juno, and reported exemplary results in the history of cancer therapy of terminal patients.
