Dr. Jack Kavanaugh and his Extraordinary Success Story

 

Hard times knock without a prior warning, one who stands up in those times is the strongest. One should be courageous enough to leave his disabilities aside and work on their dreams. One such name is, Dr. Jack Kavanough who stood up despite the disability he later developed.

Dr. Jack was successfully practicing dentistry when he met with an accident while skiing. Unfortunately, the accident hit him hard and broke his neck and leg but it could not stop his cravings for success. What happened afterward is a story of his success that will motivate you to another level.

Even after this shocking event, Kavanaugh decided not to step back. He gathered courage and decided to pursue MBA. He went to UCLA Anderson School of Management for that. Later, he started working with acquisitions and mergers with his former partner. Also, he started an International Strategy Group, which is a management and MBA consulting organization.

Although he had established his feet in the field he decided to return to his medical field and gain more knowledge. He got admitted to USC Keck School of Medicine and pursued his M.D from there. Later, he joined UCLA’s Jules Stein Eye Institute for completing his residency.

In the initial period of his residency, he came with a health care service provider, Amerident. The company offered excellent services and won over 30 community service awards. This was not the end, he made continuous efforts and brought his vision to initiate many businesses and medical advancements.

He played a crucial role in the advancements by Calhoun Vision Inc, which is a leading brand name in the field of biotechnology. The firm established its name by developing the light adjustable intraocular lens and became the first one to develop it.

Also, he applied his knowledge in the functioning of the tech team. His expert knowledge resulted in the hike of the price of shares from 11 cents to $25. Not just this, he applied his knowledge in PreCash that helped in increasing the profit margin.

Along with all this, he also had a crucial role in ZetaRx Bioscience, a well-known firm for immunotherapy. His experience and his innovative ideas also supported Materia Inc. and SuperMetalix Inc. Most importantly, he co-founded two companies, Novonco Therapeutics, and Nanotech Energy. Both of them are running successfully today.

Despite having a busy schedule, Dr. Jack Kavanaugh manages to contribute his valuable time to contribute to several philanthropic causes. He and his wife support many charitable organizations. He wants to support everyone in every possible way he can. He is a perfect example, how to stand up with disabilities. His courage and determination lead him to success and established his name in a different field.
