DR. JACK KAVANAUGH: A SMART DOCTOR WITH A KNACK FOR BUSINESS

Dr. Jack Kavanaugh is one such business personality, who had started his career in medicine but later moved on to an entrepreneurial role. He was an established dentist at the starting of his career.

However, just when his medical career was taking off, a major skiing accident forced him to quit his dentistry practice and re-establish himself as a businessman. Dr. Jack Kavanaugh proved to be a true fighter who fought against all odds to achieve success in the field of business. He earned his MBA degree from UCLA, after which he started working in mergers and acquisitions. He then co-founded the International Strategy Consulting Group in 1984, with one of his former partners. However, even after stabilizing his career in private equity, he wanted to do more by diversifying his work. He decided to further his education and make a strong footprint in the science and medicine world.

He completed his M.D. degree from USC and his surgical residency from UCLA. When he was in the first year of his residency, he founded a company called Amerident, which provides health care services. The solutions that they offer are so popular that they have received numerous community service awards and also one state congressional medal for their services.

He is a businessman with foresight and his promising ideas and leadership qualities have helped him in developing several businesses. Tech Team Global is one of them, whose share price improved under his able guidance from 11 cents to $27 each. In 2000, he joined Calhoun Vision, Inc., a pioneering biotechnology firm making the first light adjustable intraocular lens and arranged the first board meeting for this organization. He also served it as a board member and the Chairman for around 14 years.

He established ZetaRx Biosciences, Inc. in 2008, which became the leader in immunotherapy that is applied for treating cancer. He is also the co-founder of Novonco Therapeutics, Inc., a leading company in the field of epigenetic and other therapeutic researches. His commendable management skills brought about thriving success for the organizations he was associated with, including PreCash, a company that had a significant turnaround in terms of profit.

Throughout his career, Dr. Jack Kavanaugh has established and led various companies that have created next-generation medical treatments and achieved remarkable success in the medical field. Apart from them, he is also a philanthropist, involved in various charitable efforts. He is a member of the City of Hope National Medical Center, The Art of Elysium, and Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
