In addition to this, in the year 2000, he has become a member of Materia, Inc. and played a vital role as a board member of the company. Here, he contributed his knowledge and efforts to commercializing the company by increasing its funds in order to produce metathesis catalysts. This organization is known for its licensed Nobel-prize-winning technology for creating the resins and catalysts to industrial use.

Jack Kavanaugh carries a positive view of social welfare and pays keen attention to serving the under-served communities by arranging several events and research program for the treatment of complex diseases such as cancer with the new generation medical techniques.
