Contributions Made by Jack Kavanaugh for the Development of Medical Companies

Apart from being an internationally renowned surgeon, Dr. Jack Kavanaugh is also a successful businessman who has been the driving force behind the commercialization of the cellular therapies and biotechnology companies. He is currently appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Orbsen Therapeutics because of his experience and previous work records that helped him fulfill his worldwide potential of this company. He has created a number of industry-leading products and has mainly focused on health and science sector.

Beginning with his entrepreneurial career, he found Amerident in the year 1996 and served as the Chairman of the company. He was honored with 30 community service awards for his good work in the company.

Kavanaugh has also helped in the commercialization of Calhoun Vision to create next-generation medical treatment equipment. He developed the world’s first light adjustable intraocular lens for cataract surgery. Jack has worked a lot for the betterment of society by providing guidance to many more companies.

In 2000, he joined the Materia, Inc., and served as a board member for the company. He raised funds to commercialize Grubbs technology for the company which would help to produce the metathesis catalysis. With his efforts and hard work, the company also received a grant from the National Institute of Health Phase 2 Fast Track Small Business Technology Transfer in May 2012. After a huge success, the company expanded its partnership with the University of Kansas Paul Hanson which helped the company to grow further.

As Dr. Jack Kavanaugh, always carried a positive belief regarding social welfare, hence he is also associated with various non-profit organizations and cultural groups. He along with his wife Leslie who is a real estate executive, organize various events for the research and treatment. They both support and are the members of the City of Hope National Medical Center, Duarte, California. It is an organization that works for developing medical treatments and techniques to cure patients who are suffering from severe diseases like Cancer. He also found ZetaRx to provide treatments for cancer which did not involve any surgeries, chemotherapies, or radiations.

  Dr. Jack Kavanaugh, an MBA, an MD, a founder, a chairman, a business leader, and what not, started his career as a dentist to finally being a great businessman. Dr. Kavanaugh fulfilled his dream of becoming a dentist and then a great businessman even after meeting with a severe accident, breaking his neck and legs so much that he couldn’t resume his dentistry.
